Don't know about the rest of the world out there,but I am ready for some spring!

New Cabinet

Got a beautiful new cabinet in the shop this week.It is an old oak dish cabinet,2 glass doors,1 drawer and then 2 wooden doors. Has those beautiful little vintage glass knobs,and something even better,,it is painted Sage Green!! I love it,,will be hard to let this one go. It will sell for 280.00,that is the firm price on it,as it is in great shape.Will be adding more cabinets and tables,primitives as I find them...

2011

Look for new items to be added to the shop,hopefully more cabinet for sale and alot more primitives and some great handmade items. I hope to add alot more flags and flag accessories to the shop too,,please drop me a note as what you would like to see,,

New Stuff

Hey Guys,fall is just 14 days away. I can see the change in the sun and smell the change in the air,,I think it's Harvest candles,or pumpkin crunch cake,or pumpkin pie,,which ever one it is it smells great. I love fall,the colors,the air. Stop in the shop and see what I have new. I'm changing all the time. Also if you are around Salisbury,I have moved my shop upstairs. It looks great!! I will post some pictures later. Well keep checking back,,,Planning another trip to PA in October, Homespun Christmas will be November 6-7th this,,Yes I'm having it on a Sunday this time,after church.

stick with me

Just wanted to add an update,,just stick with me as I search and add some new gifty things to my shop, I will still have some of the great chippy antique things,but will try and add more things in the lines of gifts. Stay tuned,,,

Closing

Just an update,,I will be closing up my shop for a little while.I have some personal things to take care of,and need a break to get caught up.Please keep me in your thoughts as I really do not know the future of my business. I will try and reopen in July,,will keep you posted,,,Jenny

Shop directions

If you are ever in the neighborhood drop by and see me. I am located just 14miles south of Seagrove NC,pottery capital. Located at 5320 Hwy 705N,Robbins. My shop is in an old store building which was also a gas company at one time. Still get people wanting me to fill their propane tanks. My shop days are Thursday-Friday 11-5:30 and Sat. 11-3:30.

Homespun Holidays

Just wanted to update you all on my change for my Homespun Holidays. I have had to change the date,just couldn't get the things ready that I wanted to have done,,so I changed the dates to November 20-21,time will be 10:30 till about 6 both days,,The shop will be decorated for the season and the trees will be out. I will be adding goodies right up till Christmas Day,,so please come out...

Fall Gathering

Hello out there,,just a quick note about what's going on at the shop,,,FALL IS ALMOST HERE!!!!!! Yeah!!!! Love the fall season,,I will be having my annual Fall Gathering Sept.25 and 26th..10-until 7 :00 each night,,there will be some things on sale with a discount of 25-35%,,so stock up for Christmas,,,And also some great fall things to prim up your house and some great snacks to fill up your belly. This year has been tough on us all,,so come on out for some fellowship and great buys.

Chippy Cupboard

Don't you just love this "Chippy Cupboard" I just couldn't resisit bringing this one home,,this is what is looks like after I gave it a good wash down,,it was really dirty.I sanded it just a bit as I wanted the paint to stay on hence the name"Chippy Cupboard".You wouldn't believe what I had to dig thru to get this cupboard out. It was a mess,but so well worth it. It is missing some knobs,but I will find some and replace them. I added some stain to it today to tone down some of the white paint. I will post it after I finish it. Seems like I am possessed with buying sellers cabinets and hutches and cupboards. I have bought 3 in the past 3 weeks. They just keep calling my name and I just keep answering the call. This one will go to my new space at the Salisbuy Emporium in Salisbury,NC. I will post all that info later

Annie Mae and Ginger

Here is the latest creation that I had been working on. I named her Annie Mae,I don't know why,just did. She turned out really neat. I did some grunging on her,not too much.She is holding her favorite friend,Ginger.The colors on her just matched her hair,how special??Will be adding more things as I get them ready. It want be long before spring is here( I wish).I hope Spring didn't hear that the groundhog saw his shadow.
